Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Pune, a key city in the state of Maharashtra has a diversified industrial and service sector presence with IT, pharma, and auto manufacturing. Bibvewadi, an emerging micro market in the city is witnessing rapid growth driven by infrastructure and commercial development as well as its proximity to educational and residential hubs. This signing aligns with our strategy of expanding IHCL’s footprint in high-growth urban clusters.”

The 180-key Gateway Bibvewadi Pune, Maharashtra is strategically located close to the city centre. The hotel will offer a vibrant culinary experience through an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a specialty restaurant. Recreational facilities include a state-of-the-art gym and a swimming pool. With a banqueting space spanning approx. 4,000 sq. ft., complemented by smaller meeting rooms and pre-function areas, the hotel also caters to business and social gatherings.

Often referred to as the ‘Oxford of the East’ due to its prestigious educational institutions, Pune has long been recognised as a cultural and educational hub.
