With K2 and Watergen, Le Meridien New Delhi introduces atmospheric water for mindful luxury.

Le Meridien New Delhi has announced a groundbreaking sustainability initiative in partnership with K2 Atmospheric Mineral Water and Watergen. For the first time in India, these global leaders in atmospheric water generation have come together to create fresh, mineral-enriched water made directly from air, elegantly bottled in glass, and served exclusively to visiting guests.
This innovative initiative reflects the shared commitment of all three partners to combine luxury with responsibility, offering a refined guest experience while minimising environmental impact.
“At Le Meridien New Delhi, we take pride in leading with action,” said Mr. Tarun Thakral, CEO, CJ International Hotels Limited. “We are the first hotel in India to introduce a pioneering initiative that transforms the way water is sourced and served, partnered with K2 Atmospheric Mineral Water and Watergen. This step not only sets new benchmarks for sustainability in hospitality but also gives our guests the privilege of experiencing something truly extraordinary, right here in New Delhi.”
A Collaboration with Purpose

The initiative places emphasis on three key commitments. It focuses on being sustainably sourced, with advanced atmospheric technology used to generate safe, mineral-rich drinking water. The project also ensures the water is elegantly served, provided in eco-friendly glass bottles exclusively for the hotel’s visiting guests. Finally, it reinforces the principle that every sip counts, representing a conscious effort to reduce plastic use and conserve natural resources.
This first-of-its-kind partnership in India sets a benchmark for sustainable hospitality while reinforcing Le Meridien New Delhi’s dedication to enhancing both guest well-being and community responsibility.
