Hilton has announced the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Rajkot, marking the debut of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Rajkot, and the first Hilton property in the city
Developed in partnership with Sanjayraj and Co., the hotel is expected to open in early 2030 and will become Hilton’s fourth hotel in Gujarat, joining DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad, Hilton Garden Inn Surat City Centre and Hampton by Hilton Vadodara Alkapuri.
The signing reinforces Hilton’s continued expansion across India’s high-growth commercial markets while strengthening its presence in Gujarat, one of the country’s leading economic powerhouses. As the state’s fourth-largest city and a major centre for engineering, manufacturing and trade, Rajkot presents a compelling opportunity for internationally branded, full-service hospitality driven by growing business travel, meetings, weddings and social events. Strategically located on Second Ring Road in Rajkot’s emerging commercial district, the hotel will offer convenient access to the city’s key industrial and business hubs, Rajkot Junction railway station and Rajkot International Airport.

Upon completion, DoubleTree by Hilton Rajkot will feature 145 guest rooms and suites, designed to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers. The hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, spa, fitness centre and indoor-outdoor swimming pool. The hotel will also offer approximately 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 17,400 square feet ballroom and three meeting rooms, positioning it as a leading venue for corporate events, conferences, weddings and social celebrations in the city.
