Hilton signs Hilton Garden Inn Hyderabad Kompally, a 96-room hotel opening in 2028, marking the first Hilton Garden Inn in the city

Hilton has announced the signing of Hilton Garden Inn Hyderabad Kompally. The property is expected to open in 2028 and is being developed by Fairmount and Friends LLP, part of the Fairmount Group.
Once operational, the hotel will become Hilton’s third hotel in Hyderabad, following Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa and the upcoming Hilton Hyderabad Gachibowli. It will also mark the first Hilton Garden Inn in Hyderabad.
The signing comes as Hyderabad continues to see growth as a business, IT and life sciences destination. According to the company, the city accounted for nearly half of all new Global Capability Centre establishments in India between 2025 and early 2026.
Located within a mixed-use development in Kompally, the hotel will have access to office spaces, retail outlets and business districts connected through the Outer Ring Road.
Hilton Garden Inn Hyderabad Kompally will feature 96 guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant with a bar, and more than 10,000 sq ft of meeting and event space.
Clarence Tan, Senior Vice President, Development, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said, “As Hilton continues to expand across India, our focused service brands like Hilton Garden Inn play a critical role in scaling our portfolio across the country, where we’re on track to grow from 40 trading hotels today to over 400 in the years to come. This signing reflects our focus on building a balanced portfolio across key gateway and emerging business destinations in the market with a product that is designed to effectively meet the demands of both business and leisure travellers.”
Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, said, “Hyderabad continues to evolve as one of India’s most important business and innovation hubs, and for Hilton, it remains a key strategic growth market in South Asia. This signing is particularly significant as it marks our first focused service hotel in the city, further strengthening our presence across Hyderabad’s growing commercial corridors. As the market continues to evolve, we see a significant opportunity to serve a wider mix of business and leisure travellers through a more diversified portfolio.”
Shahazim Hameed, Founder and CEO, Fairmount Builders, said, “Kompally is witnessing strong growth across commercial and residential developments, and we believe the market is ready for a globally recognised brand that can cater to the area’s rising hospitality demand, and Hilton Garden Inn is well-positioned to meet that need. Partnering with Hilton to bring Hilton Garden Inn to this market, combined with our market understanding, puts us in a strong position to serve the demand and contribute to the area’s evolving landscape.”
