A 57-key Ramada Encore by Wyndham set to open in 2026, strengthening midscale hospitality in Kochi’s fast-growing Kalamassery corridor

Hyson Hospitalities has announced the signing of Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kochi Kalamassery, a 57-room hotel scheduled to open in 2026, in partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Strategically located in the fast-growing Kalamassery corridor of Kochi, the hotel is being developed to cater to the area’s expanding base of business, medical, educational, and leisure travellers. Designed to reflect the Ramada Encore brand’s smart, contemporary positioning, the property is expected to feature well-appointed guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop restaurant, a fitness centre, and meeting facilities.
P P Fasalu, Director, Hyson Hospitalities Private Limited, said: “We are pleased to partner with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to introduce the Ramada Encore brand to Kalamassery, Kochi. The region is witnessing strong growth driven by industrial development, healthcare institutions, and improved connectivity. Through this hotel, we aim to offer guests an internationally benchmarked hospitality experience while contributing meaningfully to the city’s evolving accommodation landscape.”

Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: “Kalamassery’s evolution into a prominent commercial and institutional hub makes it a natural fit for the Ramada Encore brand. Partnering with Hyson Hospitalities on this project allows us to bring a contemporary, efficient hotel offering to a location that continues to see strong demand from business, healthcare, and education-led travel. This signing reflects our focus on aligning with experienced local owners to deliver consistent, high-quality stays in key Indian markets.”
With this development, Hyson Hospitalities strengthens its presence in Kerala’s hospitality sector while aligning with Wyndham’s portfolio of internationally trusted brands. The project also reflects the growing demand for efficient, midscale hotels in both established metros and high-potential urban clusters.
