With an impressive blend of academic credentials and over 15 years of hospitality experience, Kunal Dave steps into his latest role at Ananta Hotels & Resorts, poised to elevate the brand’s presence across weddings, MICE, and leisure travel segments.

In the dynamic world of hospitality, success demands more than just industry knowledge—it calls for strategic thinking, interpersonal flair, and a deep understanding of guest expectations. Kunal Dave embodies this synergy as he takes on the role of Associate Director of Sales and Marketing at Ananta Hotels & Resorts.

Kunal’s academic foundation is as solid as his career track. He holds a postgraduate degree in Hotel Management from the Pacific International Hotel Management School, New Zealand, coupled with an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai. This blend of hospitality training and business acumen has provided him with a rare dual perspective on guest service and strategic operations.

His journey through the hospitality landscape spans 15 years, with 12 years dedicated to sales, during which he has demonstrated a strong ability to generate revenue, build relationships, and guide teams. His versatile experience includes front-line roles, backend operations, and high-stakes sales leadership—each contributing to a holistic understanding of hotel management.

Kunal’s early career saw him developing a solid operational foundation at ITC Grand Maratha and The Lalit Mumbai, where he served as a Front Office Associate. He later expanded into reservations and revenue management as Senior Manager of Reservations at Comfort Inn Heritage.

He transitioned to sales with vigor, holding pivotal roles such as Assistant Sales Manager at Hotel Sea Rock Inn, Daman, and Sales & Marketing at The Orchid Mumbai (Kamat Hotels India Ltd.), where he also trained teams on CRM software, showcasing his multifaceted expertise.

Internationally, Kunal gained global exposure working as a Night Auditor at Ibis Hotel (Accor Group) in Auckland, New Zealand—an experience that deepened his understanding of international guest standards and operational efficiency.

Notably, his leadership journey in sales continued with key roles at Caravela Beach Resort, Goa, Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa, and Buena Vista Luxury Resort, Jaipur, where he climbed to the rank of Associate Director of Sales & Marketing. His success in handling high-profile wedding and MICE business segments made him a valuable asset in India’s booming destination hospitality sector.
