Hyatt Regency Kolkata has announced the appointment of Nikhil Pol as its Director of Engineering, effective June 4, 2025
Nikhil brings with him about a decade of rich experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong foundation in Engineering operations. He holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai, which he completed in 2015.
He embarked on his hospitality career in 2015 as a GET at Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa. Demonstrating consistent growth, he progressed to Assistant Engineering Manager at the same property before moving to Taj Ambassador, New Delhi in 2018 as an Engineering Manager. In 2022, Nikhil’s leadership journey started when he moved to The Leela Goa as an Assistant Chief Engineer, where he contributed to the conversion of The Leela Goa to The St. Regis Goa Resort, he continued to work there till August 2023.
Most recently, he was an integral team member in opening the first Moxy hotel in West India Moxy Mumbai Andheri West, which is part of Marriott International, where he served as Chief Engineer.
On his spare time, he love to travel and also play badminton.
