NILE Hospitality has announced the signing of its first Marriott-branded hotel in Patna, marking a landmark moment for the city’s hospitality sector and a major milestone in NILE’s national expansion journey

Marriott Hotel Patna will offer world-class hospitality standards, global loyalty access through Marriott Bonvoy, and international service benchmarks setting a new benchmark for luxury and business travel in Bihar.
The upcoming 205-room Marriott Hotel Patna will be strategically located just 15 minutes from Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport and is set to become Patna’s first international hotel. The property will feature a premium all-day dining restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, expansive banqueting and lawn spaces, making it one of the city’s largest wedding and social event destinations.
This signing also marks NILE Hospitality’s first Marriott-branded property, reinforcing its rapid expansion across India’s high-growth markets with global brands. The Patna signing is a key step in NILE’s broader growth strategy and strengthens its position as one of India’s fastest-growing hospitality management platforms.
With rapid infrastructure development, increasing corporate movement, and rising demand for premium accommodation, Patna is a key commercial and cultural hub in Eastern India. NILE Hospitality’s entry with a global brand like Marriott is expected to transform the city’s hospitality landscape.
The hotel is being developed by Nutan Hospitality and will be operated by NILE Hospitality under Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International’s original flagship premium brand and its most established full-service hotel portfolio worldwide.
“Patna is emerging as a significant commercial and cultural hub, and MHRS Patna is aligned with our commitment to support the city’s upward momentum. With Marriott bringing unmatched global credibility, and NILE Hospitality offering years of proven operational expertise, we are confident this hotel will contribute meaningfully to the city’s progress and deliver reliable performance.” said Ayush Kumar Sinha, Director, Nutan Hospitality.
Speaking on the signing, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder & CEO, NILE Hospitality, said: “This signing represents a defining milestone for NILE Hospitality. The partnership with Nutan Hospitality aligns perfectly with our strategic vision: to bring truly global brand and hospitality experiences to Patna and build a lasting legacy for this dynamic city, building scalable, performance-driven hotels across high-potential markets. With a robust pipeline in place, we are on track to add 1,000 rooms under the Marriott portfolio by the end of this year.
The Patna signing strengthens Marriott International’s presence in Eastern India and aligns with its strategy of expanding into fast-growing Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities with strong economic fundamentals.
