Nitin Gohri joins The Westin Goa as Director of Operations, overseeing key departments and service standards

The Westin Goa has announced the appointment of Nitin Gohri as Director of Operations. Gohri brings over 15 years of experience across hospitality operations, sales strategy, event management and business development. In his new role, he will oversee operational functions across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering and Recreation.
Before this appointment, Gohri served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Navi Mumbai, where he was involved in sales strategy, business development, revenue planning and market positioning. He has also worked with leading hospitality brands including Marriott International and IHCL, gaining experience across hotel operations, MICE, weddings, luxury hospitality, revenue strategy and large-scale event management.
Gohri was earlier associated with The Westin Goa as Director of Sales, where he worked across the weddings, leisure and MICE segments. His previous roles also include convention sales and event planning at Taj Lands End Mumbai, along with catering sales and events at Taj Palace New Delhi. Across these assignments, he handled business segments linked to corporate events, social celebrations, large-format gatherings and hospitality operations, giving him cross-functional exposure across luxury and upscale hotel environments.
A graduate in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Jaipur and IGNOU University, Gohri has been associated with projects and events, including Green Meetings initiatives, alternate revenue stream strategies during the pandemic, BRICS and ASEAN Summits, Sunburn and the Women’s World Cup.
In his new position, he will work with the hotel’s leadership team on operational planning, service standards, employee engagement and guest satisfaction.
