The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat has announced the appointment of Paromita Dasgupta as its new Director of Rooms
With over 13 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Paromita brings extensive expertise in Rooms Division operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa Operations and guest experience management. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence, service quality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Prior to joining The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, Paromita served as Room Division Manager at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa. She has also held key leadership roles with several renowned hospitality brands, including JW Marriott Kolkata, Hyatt Regency Pune & Residences, Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru, Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru, Novotel Bengaluru Techpark and Swissôtel Kolkata building a diverse portfolio of operational expertise across premium and luxury hospitality.
Over the years, Paromita has been recognised for her commitment to operational excellence and guest satisfaction. In 2025, she was honoured with the Best Room Division Manager award at the International Hospitality Day Awards for the Chennai market.
In her new role, Paromita will lead the hotel’s Rooms Division, overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa and related operations. She will focus on enhancing guest satisfaction, driving operational efficiencies, strengthening service excellence, upholding Marriott International’s brand standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and people development.
