Surat Marriott Hotel has announced the appointment of Rinu Thomas as its new Learning & Development Manager

With over eight years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry, Rinu brings with him a strong foundation in training, quality assurance, employee engagement, and talent development.
Prior to joining Surat Marriott, Rinu served as Assistant Manager – Learning & Development at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotels & Residences, where he led learning, quality, and talent development initiatives. He has also held Learning & Development roles with leading luxury hospitality brands, including The Leela Palace Bengaluru and Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai, contributing to training, leadership development, and employee engagement programs. Rinu began his hospitality journey with the pre-opening team of Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, bringing with him a well-rounded understanding of both hotel operations and people development.

In his new role at Surat Marriott Hotel, Rinu will lead the hotel’s Learning & Development initiatives, focusing on leadership capability building, associate engagement, service culture enhancement, and creating meaningful learning experiences that support both individual growth and organisational success.
