Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty has announced the appointment of Saurav Datta as its new Director of Sales & Marketing

With over 23 years of experience across luxury and upper-upscale hospitality brands, Saurav brings a strong blend of operational insight and commercial acumen. His career spans over a decade in core hotel operations, followed by 13 years in sales and marketing, enabling him to drive business performance while maintaining a sharp focus on guest experience.
Saurav began his journey with Hyatt at Grand Hyatt Mumbai in 2004, where he built his foundation in Food & Beverage operations. He later transitioned into sales, taking on progressively senior roles across leading hospitality brands, including Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Le Méridien Hyderabad and Le Méridien Nagpur, where he contributed to driving revenue growth and strengthening market positioning.
He rejoined Hyatt in 2023 at Hyatt Regency Chennai, where he played a key role in shaping commercial strategy. During his tenure, he also supported Hyatt Pune as Acting General Manager, further expanding his leadership experience.
In his new role, Saurav will lead the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy, focusing on driving revenue across key segments while enhancing the hotel’s positioning in a competitive hospitality landscape. Known for his strategic approach and collaborative leadership style, he has consistently delivered strong business outcomes while building high-performing teams.

Originally from Tripura, Saurav is known for his positive outlook, strong work ethic, and ability to build lasting professional relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, watching films, and has recently embraced a fitness-focused lifestyle.
