The Leela welcomes 45 trainees to its flagship LLDP Class of 2027 leadership development programme

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has welcomed the Leela Leadership Development Programme, LLDP Class of 2027, with 45 management trainees joining the programme.
The cohort includes graduates and professionals from hospitality institutes such as IHM, IIHM and ISH, as well as candidates from luxury hotel chains. The batch has 53 per cent female representation. It includes 21 internal associates from The Leela and 24 candidates from outside the organisation.
The induction programme was attended by senior leadership, associates and parents of the selected candidates. It included a traditional Ganesh Vandana, a welcome address by the CEO and interactions with senior leaders, including the CFO and Senior Vice Presidents.
Participants will undergo a 15-month development programme covering classroom learning, online modules, boot camps and on-the-job exposure. The programme will conclude with a capstone project and certification from ISH in alliance with Les Roches.
The programme focuses on front-line and operational training, along with areas such as communication, cultural awareness, emotional intelligence and leadership skills. It is designed to create structured career pathways for hospitality professionals within the organisation.
