The Residency Hotels has announced the opening of The Residency Signature Madurai, a new hotel and convention destination in Madurai, Tamil Nadu

Spread across seven acres, the property comprises a hotel and a convention centre. Designed by Singapore-based architect Wong Chiu Man of Warner Wong Architects, the hotel incorporates architectural elements inspired by Madurai’s heritage, including references to the city’s temple architecture and the Thousand Pillar Mandapam.
The hotel features 186 guest rooms and suites, along with five additional rooms within the convention centre.
Dining venues include Chithirai, an all-day dining restaurant serving local and international cuisine. Eden, a bar offering beverages and small plates. Chin Chin, an Oriental restaurant open for dinner. Krave, a pâtisserie offering breads, pastries, and cakes.

The convention and event facilities span nearly 80,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 5,000 guests.
