Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City has announced the appointment of Uttaran Acharya as its new Front Office Manager
Uttaran brings over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in front office operations, guest relations, team leadership and service excellence. Prior to joining Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City, he served as Front Office Manager at ibis Styles Mysuru, where he managed daily front office operations, led the guest service team, handled guest concerns and built strong relationships with corporate clients to drive repeat business.
His career journey also includes key leadership roles at The Leela Bhartiya City, Bengaluru, Radisson Bengaluru City Center, Royal Orchid Central, Bengaluru, The Golkonda Hotel, Hyderabad, The Lalit Great Eastern, Kolkata, and Le Méridien Kochi. Across these roles, he has developed extensive expertise in guest experience, operational efficiency, staff training and development, VIP guest management, revenue and occupancy monitoring, budgeting, and service quality improvement.
A graduate in Hotel Management from Punjab Technical University, Uttaran has also been recognised for his commitment to guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence, including being awarded Employee of the Month, Best Grooming of the Month, and certificates recognising his dedication to guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
In his new role at Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City, Uttaran will oversee the Front Office function, focusing on enhancing guest engagement, strengthening operational standards and leading the team in creating memorable experiences for every guest.
With his strong operational acumen, people-centric leadership and passion for hospitality, Uttaran looks forward to contributing to the continued growth and service excellence of Grand Mercure Ahmedabad GIFT City.
