Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Vikas Toksya as its new Director of Operations
Vikas Toksya brings close to two decades of hospitality leadership experience across luxury resorts, premium hotel brands, and large-scale food & beverage operations.
Vikas has built a strong reputation for driving operational excellence, enhancing guest experiences, leading high-performing teams, and successfully managing complex hospitality operations. His expertise spans hotel operations, food & beverage management, pre-opening projects, sustainability-focused hospitality, and service quality enhancement.
Prior to joining Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa, Vikas served as Resident Manager at The Machan Resorts LLP, Lonavala. His professional journey also includes leadership roles as Operations Manager with Cyrus Poonawalla Group, Director of Food & Beverage and Food & Beverage Manager at Radisson Blu, and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Hilton.
Earlier in his career, Vikas spent over four years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he progressed through multiple leadership positions, including Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Outlet Manager, and Assistant Manager, Outlet. During his tenure, he was instrumental in overseeing large-scale dining and banqueting operations and was recognized with the Best Manager Award in 2014. He was also part of the team that contributed to Hyatt Ahmedabad being recognized among the leading luxury hotels in Gujarat.
Vikas began his hospitality journey with Trident Hotels, where he was part of the pre-opening team for Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai, followed by a key role with Agility Thunderbird Resorts, Daman, contributing to pre-opening and operational success across multiple dining venues.
In his new role, Vikas will oversee the resort’s day-to-day operations, focusing on elevating guest satisfaction, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting the continued growth of Jim Corbett Marriott Resort & Spa.
