Wyndham introducing Vienna House to India, signs first hotel in Vrindavan

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to introduce its European lifestyle brand, Vienna House, to India with the signing of the 100-key Vienna House Easy Vrindavan, further expanding its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing hospitality markets

Under development by entrepreneurs Sachin Kumar and Nardev Chaudhary and slated to open in 2029, Wyndham’s newest hotel in Vrindavan will introduce Vienna House Easy's distinctive blend of European-inspired design, authentic hospitality and local character to one of India's fastest-growing spiritual destinations
Under development by entrepreneurs Sachin Kumar and Nardev Chaudhary and slated to open in 2029, Wyndham’s newest hotel in Vrindavan will introduce Vienna House Easy’s distinctive blend of European-inspired design, authentic hospitality and local character to one of India’s fastest-growing spiritual destinations

The all-new hotel, slated to open in 2029, is being developed by entrepreneur Sachin Kumar, owner and operator of Kumar Beverages Industries, one of North India’s leading packaged drinking water businesses in partnership with Nardev Chaudhary

Development of the project comes as Indian travellers increasingly seek thoughtful, experience-led stays both abroad and at home. Just last year, Switzerland, Italy and France accounted for more than 52% of Indian outbound travel demand to Europe, while at the same time, spiritual destinations within India, like Vrindavan, drew record visitation numbers in the tens of millions. Vienna House Easy Vrindavan brings these ideas together, pairing the brand’s European-inspired sensibility with an experience shaped by the destination itself.

Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said, “Indian travellers are increasingly choosing hotels for how they make them feel, not simply where they allow them to stay. Across Europe, Vienna House has built its reputation on creating welcoming, design-led experiences that feel connected to the communities around them. As destinations such as Vrindavan attract a broader mix of travellers seeking culture, spirituality and discovery, we see a clear opportunity to introduce a brand that combines international hospitality standards with a genuine sense of place. Together with Sachin Kumar and Nardev Chaudhary, we are excited to bring that experience to India for the first time.”

Part of the wider Vienna House brand family, Vienna House Easy offers a relaxed and accessible lifestyle experience, blending European-inspired design and hospitality with the culture and character of each destination. The brand’s arrival in Vrindavan comes as growing visitation and demand for quality branded accommodation continue to fuel the city’s emergence as a dynamic hospitality market. Expected to open as a four-star, 100-key lifestyle hotel, Vienna House Easy Vrindavan will feature an all-day dining restaurant, rooftop infinity pool and poolside terrace, banquet space and a curated vegetarian dining offering inspired by local traditions. Located near Banke Bihari Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON Vrindavan, the hotel will offer convenient access from Mathura Junction, Agra and Delhi.

Sachin Kumar, Partner, Vienna House Easy Vrindavan, said, “Vrindavan is undergoing a remarkable transformation, attracting not only pilgrims but also families and travellers seeking richer cultural experiences. Together with Wyndham, we are creating a hotel that brings the warmth, character and design ethos of Vienna House Easy to India while remaining rooted in the traditions and identity of Vrindavan. We believe guests will value a hospitality experience that combines international quality, thoughtful design and an authentic connection to the destination.”

The signing of Vienna House Easy Vrindavan underscores Wyndham’s long-term commitment to introducing globally recognised brands that resonate with the evolving preferences of Indian travellers. Supported by Wyndham’s global scale, distribution capabilities and a Wyndham Rewards® membership base of more than 126 million enrolled members worldwide, Vienna House Easy is well positioned for future growth in India through partnerships with owners who share its vision for distinctive, experience-led hospitality.
