What: A Taste of Stockholm Food Festival

This early summer food festival is a great insight in Stockholm’s foodie lifestyle. It covers everything from locally grown produce to organic food that creates a model of sustainable living. It’s not only food, but also a big music programme in different genres. Every year it attracts over 350,000 visitors. Many of Stockholm’s top restaurants serve food during the festival and cover everything from traditional dishes to world cuisine. It’s one of the largest annual events in the country and it cares about the sustainability and environment.

Where: Beijing

The largest beer fest in the Baltics, this is your chance to sample over 200 types of beer. Discover many local and regional brews, along with European favourites and special craft beers from around the world. Locals and tourists alike flock to this lively festival, which takes place in the centre of the beautiful city of Riga. Perhaps it’s the Latvia Beer Festival that’s been responsible for the recent explosion of craft beer in the country.

Started by two locals, Shrewsbury Food Festival highlights local craft, unsigned bands, family entertainment, and all the regional food and drinks you can find. This town’s exceptional food scene has been slowly coming onto the mainstream with great producers and independent retailers and restaurants joining the fray. Shrewsbury Food Festival is a celebration of food throughout the town, just northwest of Birmingham, and in the main festival site of Quarry Park. The unplugged area features up and coming local musicians, there’s also kids entertainment, workshops and a Chef Demonstration stage with top local chefs and naturally, a Chef School.

Where: Brighton, England
